Adam Levine & Maroon 5 in Talks to Perform at Super Bowl 50 Halftime Gig


The Super Bowl 50 might taste some sugar this coming 2016.

According to E! News, Adam Levine and his band, Maroon 5, are in extensive talks to perform in the Super Bowl 50 and are the current front-runners for the halftime show.

Not far behind are Coldplay and Bruno Mars who have been rumored to be the other acts that might appear in the annual event. According to Billboard, Bruno Mars, who performed in the Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014, might make a reappearance this coming Super Bowl.

Known as one of the biggest annual events, The Super Bowl is seen by millions of people across the globe.
Last year’s performance featured Katy Perry and gathered 121 million views, making it the most viewed performance according to Nielsen. Followed by Bruno Mars’ performance in 2014 which received 115 million views.

Super Bowl 50 will take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., on Sunday, Feb. , 2016, and air on CBS.
